I used the escrow service and it did what it was supposed to do. My money felt protected the whole time, which is basically what everyone wants with these things. The only downside is support can be slow sometimes, like these platforms always seem to take forever when you actually need an answer.

Signing up was quick, and I was able to figure out most of it after a few minutes. It wasn’t too confusing as a first-time user, but I did feel a little misled because it seemed simpler or more straightforward than it actually ended up being.

I mostly use Paxful for Bitcoin trades, and the fees have been okay for the most part. Every now and then the network fee feels a little high, but that’s kind of expected with BTC anyway. Overall, it’s been smooth enough for me and I haven’t run into any major issues. I’d give it 4 stars

"I’ve been using paxful for a while..."
I’ve been using paxful for a while now, and most of the time the rates are reasonable if you’re willing to spend a few minutes comparing sellers. I’ve found some offers that were better than what I’ve seen on other platforms, so overall I don’t usually feel like I’m getting ripped off.
That said, it’s not something I’d just click through without checking. Some sellers definitely have less appealing pricing, and you still need to pay attention to each trade. The fees are fairly clear, though, and in general the pricing has worked out well for me.

"Fair dispute outcome, but it took a while"
I had a trade end up in dispute, and I wasn’t really sure how it was going to go at first. The mediator asked both of us for proof, which made the whole thing feel fair from my side.
The only downside was that it took longer than I expected, and the support replies were a little slow at times. I did end up with a fair result, but I wish the steps were clearer and the whole process moved faster, it just felt.....

i mean, I used paxful to trade a gift card and it went smooth for my first time.

The seller replied quickly, and the steps were easy enough to follow. I just made sure to read the terms carefully and upload a clear receipt so there wouldn’t be any issues.

Once everything was confirmed, I got my bitcoin after a few minutes. The fees are just part of it, but overall it was a good experience.

"Didn’t feel protected when things went wrong"
I had a upsetting experience. A trade went bad, and when I reached out for help, support took way too long to respond. It just felt like scam reports aren’t treated as seriously as they should be, which really stressed me out because once your money or items are on the line, you want to feel like someone has your back. After that, I don’t think I’d feel comfortable trusting it again

"Verification took a little time, but it worked out well"
I’d give Paxful 4 stars for the verification process. Uploading my ID was easy enough, though approval took a bit longer than I was hoping. I did have to retake one photo because it came out blurry, but after that everything went through smoothly and my account was ready. It wasn’t totally perfect, but it was still a good experience overall and not stressful.

Did my trade while I was half-watching TV and finishing a coffee, and it went through way faster than I expected. Everything felt smooth, no weird delays or confusing steps. i was ready for some kind of hassle, but nope, it was all straightforward. No complaints from me.

I used Paxful for a bank transfer trade, and it did go through in the end. The seller just took a while to respond, so I was kind of nervous sitting there waiting, if that makes sense. Support was okay too, but not especially quick. Overall, it worked, but the whole process felt a bit stressful. 3 stars from me.

I had one of my trades flagged for chargeback risk, and support took way longer than I expected to respond. I get that they’re trying to keep things safe, but the whole process felt kind of unclear?? Like, I wasn’t really sure what I did wrong or what I was supposed to do next. It ended up feeling a bit unfair

"Helpful site, but the downtime is frustrating"
I do find the site useful when it's working, but it’s frustrating that it seems to go down right when I need it most. I rely on it enough that the outages really disrupt what I’m trying to do, so I’d expect some kind of compensation or credit for the inconvenience.

The app seemed straightforward at first and I was excited to get started. But I was a bit frustrated that I had to submit documents and wait for the ID check before I could actually trade, which took longer than I expected. Once that part is done, though, it feels like it should be simple to use

"Deposits are fine, but withdrawals made me feel stuck"
I mostly use paxful for wallet deposits and withdrawals. Deposits have usually been okay for me, sometimes they show up fast, other times I have to wait a bit. Withdrawals did go through, but a couple of times they took longer than I expected, and it made me feel kind of trapped just sitting there waiting and not knowing what was happening. The fees can also feel a bit high depending on the network. It’s not the worst experience, but it’s definitely not as smooth as I’d like. 3 stars from me.

"Payment options are decent, but a bit hit or miss"
I like that Paxful gives you a lot of different payment options, which is definitely helpful, but sometimes the one I actually want to use just isn’t there. And when it is, some sellers charge way too much for it. Overall, it works, just not always as smoothly as I’d like.

"Reputation scores help, but I wouldn’t rely on them completely"
Paxful has been decent for me overall, and the reputation scores are helpful most of the time. I was going to say they’re reliable, but i’ve still run into a few highly rated users who were slow to respond or just gave off a weird vibe. So yeah, the ratings can point you in the right direction, but I definitely don’t trust them blindly. I still look through feedback and trade history before I go ahead with anything.
